HARRY KANE believes Tottenham can take on anyone after defeating “one of the best teams in the world” in Chelsea.
Kane scored twice yesterday as Spurs pummelled their London rivals 5-3 at White Hart Lane – their fifth win in six.
They face Burnley in the FA Cup on Monday before Premier League clashes against Crystal Palace and Sunderland as they strive for a top-four league finish.
And Kane is adamant the Chelsea result can propel Mauricio Pochettino’s men forward.
“I am delighted to score against one of the best teams in the world,” Kane told Spurs TV.
“To get us back in the game and win the way we did is obviously a great night for us.
“We stayed in the game after they scored and whenever I get the ball on the edge of the box I always look to shoot.
“Thankfully it went in and then we really pushed on, built a bit of momentum.
“We finished the game and obviously got five goals against a really good defence.”
He added: “I am delighted for the fans and delighted for the club as well. Hopefully we will take this into the games ahead.”
